Donate to our Pay It Forward
We are lucky enough to receive donations from customers in the cafe and also have support from other local businesses, which keep our Pay It Forward topped up. If you are unable to come into the cafe or would find it easier to donate online there are two easy ways below to support.
Our Pay It Forward is used daily by a diverse demographic. We are an inclusive community cafe and the idea behind our Pay It Forward is to help tackle local social isolation and support anyone who is struggling or vulnerable. By purchasing a hot drink, snack or meal via the Pay It Forward, people are able to access nutritious homemade food but also feel safe and welcome in a friendly environment.
How your donation will help :
- £3 will ensure someone is able to have a hot drink
- £5 will buy someone a drink and a snack
- £10 will allow someone to choose a main meal and a drink
We hope we have made it as easy as possible for our customers and supporters to donate to our Pay It Forward, which ensures our cafe is as open and inclusive as possible to more vulnerable members of our community.
If you have any other fundraising ideas or are a local business who would like to support us in a one-off event please email us on email@example.com
Our Pay It Forward Vouchers
Our vouchers are another way in which people can access our Pay It Forward. These started in late 2019 and we top up the blank vouchers with £10 each and they can then be recharged once spent from our Pay It Forward allowance. These are distributed into the local community to people who need them via services such as local schools, Food Bank, The Haven, and local Councillors. People then do not need to ask for Pay It Forward so we hope to increase our reach with the vouchers.
So far we have had a generous donation from one local business to help us purchase more vouchers but we would welcome other offers of sponsorship. Your name will be listed on our website and social media and you have the knowledge of knowing that your money is going directly into the local community.
